Visit Japan Web is
a free official government web service provided by Japan’s Digital Agency.
It allows travelers to complete the required “Immigration Procedures” and “Customs Declarations”
online in advance before entering or returning to Japan.
By presenting the QR code you registered in advance at the airport terminal,
you can skip filling out paper forms on the plane or at the airport
and complete the immigration process more smoothly.

Online Pre-Registration: Apply for immigration procedures and declaration of accompanied or unaccompanied items in advance using your smartphone or computer.
Pass Through with a QR Code: Simply scan the issued QR code at the dedicated airport terminal to complete the procedure.
No Paper Forms Needed: No need to fill out or submit the yellow “Declaration of Personal Effects and Unaccompanied Articles” form.
Eligible Users: Available for both Japanese returning residents and foreign visitors entering Japan.

Access the Digital Agency website
Create an Account: Register your email address on the official Visit Japan Web website.
Enter Your Information: Input your passport details, flight information, and accommodation in Japan.
Show Your QR Code: Present the QR code at your arrival airport (Narita, Haneda, Kansai, Chubu, Fukuoka, New Chitose, or Naha).
